Even the most ideal objects require perfect alignment in order to create something magical. In collaboration with Team One, Motion Theory directors Mathew Cullen and Jesus de Francisco concept a seamless journey through environments, selecting single elements and merging them to form a quintessential Pebble Beach composition.

Opening on a mountain range, we join a cinematic voyage that pans a variety of places along the California coastline, intelligently selecting elements of each along the way. As the camera moves from one environment to the next, the most perfect aspects of the trees, quarries and ocean vistas are sequentially handpicked. Once each natural component is chosen, the shot pivots and everything around it falls from focus. When the image resettles, the chosen elements are in a new environment, having built upon each other to eventually comprise the perfect scene – the lone cypress tree and majestic ocean views, classic hallmarks of the legendary golf course. The story is told in a natural, photographic and elegant narrative. Subtle techniques in perspective, depth of field, and camera position convey the idea that Lexus delivers an unmatched collage of perfect elements.
