A man's vices come to life and wreak comical havoc in his life.

In a video for the Less Than Jake song "The Science of Selling Yourself Short," a man's vices come to life as animations harassing the lead singer, who's struggling to overcome his dark side. Motion Theory shot the performance on stage, and photographed textures around Southern California for backgrounds. The illustrations are the work of L.A. artists Florencio Zavala and Martha Rich, whose hand-drawn illustrations were recreated and animated by Motion Theory. Examples include bottles of alcohol with legs, burning fuses of self-destructiveness, and animated hands that jump off of the main character and cause trouble to everything and everyone around him.
