Google ‘Chrome’

GOOGLE CREATIVE LAB

Using Google's clean and colorful style as inspiration, Motion Theory demonstrates the perks of "Chrome," the internet giant's newly launched web browser.

The latest innovation from Google is "Chrome," a web browser designed to optimize all of the newest capabilities of the web. Google approached Motion Theory to launch "Chrome" with an animated journey that clearly and colorfully conveys all of the new features and advantages of the browser.

Led by directors Mark Kudsi & John Fan, Motion Theory animators created a spot that starts at the dawn of browsers, then quickly races forward in time to illustrate the next stage of development – Google "Chrome." The spot delves deep into the structure of the information stream, finding navigation greatly simplified and personalized. Through clicks, flips, swirls, and a wide-ranging color palette, the many search functions come to life, effortlessly moving between 2D and 3D, and resulting in an energetic animated spot that shows the beautiful complexity beneath the iconic Google simplicity.
