Tiger Woods’ fans have a new reason to worship their sports idol in this viral commercial for EA’s "Tiger Woods PGA Tour '09," directed by Motion Theory's Mathew Cullen.

“Walk on Water” serves as a response to a video posted by YouTube user Levinator25. The user’s video depicted a rare glitch from last year’s "Woods" game that allowed the golfer’s virtual counterpart to miraculously walk on water. Motion Theory’s Mathew Cullen puts this miracle to the test outside of the game. When his ball lands in a pond, Tiger isn’t worried about a penalty stroke. He simply removes his shoes, then walks on water to the lily pad where the ball sits. In one miraculous chip, the ball lands on the green and rolls into the hole. With over 1.5 million views in its first week and a coveted spot on Yahoo!’s front page, it seems Tiger has turned skeptics into believers. Your move, Levinator.
