Conceived by Cannonball of St. Louis, "Just a Game" tells the story of the ultimate armchair quarterbacks who control the real-life game. Against a backdrop of billionaires and beautiful women, rapper, producer, and entrepreneur Jay-Z goes head-to-head against legendary coach Don Shula, in a one-of-a-kind football game that plays like a high-stakes round of speed chess. The designers and visual effects artists at Motion Theory pushed to create a larger-than-life football game that leaps several generations beyond today’s simulation technology, while also remaining visually realistic. The resulting game mixes voice-activated and motion-tracking interfaces, integrating the game effortlessly into the story.
