Christopher Leone is a commercial director, television series creator, and a graphic novel author with a background in visual effects.
Leone created, wrote, and co-executive produced the critically acclaimed SyFy mini-series The Lost Room, starring Peter Krause, Julianna Margulies, and Kevin Pollak. For his work on The Lost Room, Leone was nominated for a 2008 Writers Guild Award. Leone has also written feature film scripts for Sony Pictures, Miramax, and Dimension, and in 2009 wrote the comic book We Kill Monsters, published by Red 5 Comics.
Leone wrote and directed the short film K-7, which won Best Live Action Short at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and screened at over 60 film festivals worldwide, including Tribeca and SXSW. Leone also directed the CG-animated To Build a Better Mousetrap, also a festival favorite. At Motion Theory, Leone has directed spots for Disney's World of Color, Disneyland Paris, and Nintendo. As a visual effects artist he's collaborated on many Motion Theory projects, including HP "It Consolidates," Reebok "Wrapshear," and music videos for Beck and Velvet Revolver.
