Booking through the Looking Glass.
Pauley Perrette lends her charisma and personal expertise to help people navigate the world of Expedia. Both issue challenges to build the perfect vacation using Expedia's trip-building tools - shown in the form of building-block rooms that revolve, stack, and change via mind-blowing shifts in space and dimension that assemble the best trip possible. The resulting cube-vignettes flip, slide, unfold, and turn - until a character hits the "Book" button to realize their dream trip, inside a world they built.
Pairing with The Martin Agency, MTh director Mathew Cullen brought these stories to life by capturing Pauley's performance on full-sized sets as she interacts with miniatures. Mirada's head of VFX John Fragomeni, art director Angela Zhu, Charles Paek (CG Sup), Andrew Ashton (Comp Sup), and Daniel Raschko (Comp Lead) all collaborated to populate each small room with dimensional detail and charming tricks of perception - seamlessly shifting between 2D and 3D to reveal Expedia's personalized and innovative advantages.
